Patrick Leonce Broussard
March 16, 1947 — March 10, 2018
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 8:00 AM to time of service at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
He went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 8:50 PM at the Heart Hospital of Lafayette. Patrick grew up in Weeks Island and served as a Certified Public Accountant for over 50 years and was the owner of Patrick L. Broussard, CPA in Crowley. He was also an avid reader and an Eagle Scout. Patrick was also one who made impressions on all to whom he met, a constant reminder of humor and jokes as well and enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by Myra Laperouse Broussard, the loving mother of their children; his three daughters, Mary Elizabeth Fahey and husband Greg of Baton Rouge, Allison Steigleder and husband Andrew of Chicago and Anne Comarda and husband Brian of Houston; eight grandchildren, Eleanor Fahey, Camille Fahey, Andrew Steigleder, Luke Steigleder, Valerie Steigleder, Evan Steigleder, Miles Comarda and Hayes Comarda; brother, James Broussard and wife MaryForest of New Iberia and sister, Elizabeth Broussard of New Orleans.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonce Joseph Broussard, Jr. and Elizabeth A. Miller.
Pallbearers will be Laurence Simon, L. Aubert Forrest, Andrew Clarke, Greg Fahey, Brian Comarda and Andrew Steigleder.
Honorary pallbearers will be Malcolm Adams, Leon Mineville, Keith Laperouse, Lambert Laperouse, Ralph Linn, Reid Linn and Steven Laperouse.
