Lafayette - A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 16, 2018, for Mr. Joey Vallot, age 38, at David Funeral Home of Lafayette. Mr. Kearn Alan Dooley will officiate the Christian Service. Interment will follow at St. Anne Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, APril 15, 2018 from 1:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitationof the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 8:00AM until the time of the service at 11:00AM.

Joey went home to be with the Lord Jesus on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at his residence.

Joey was a fun-loving father, son, and brother. He loved to cook and have “get-togethers” with family and friends. He had a warm personality, and his contagious sense of humor will be cherished by all who knew him. His greatest passion in his life was his beautiful daughter, Zoe Jane.

He is survived by his daughter Zoe Jane Vallot of Indian Bayou, his father Michael Vallot of Lafayette, his brother Chad Vallot and wife Renee of Youngsville, his sister Michelle Savoy of Lafayette and nephews, Chase Vallot, Hunter and Lane Savoy, nieces Carley Vallot and Leah Reed-Vallot.

He is preceded in death by his mother Catherine Begnaud Vallot, his grandparents Alpha and Dorothy Vallot, and Ella Mae Duplein.

Upholding the honor of pallbearers will be Nick Saltzman, Ronnie Vallot, Jr., Hunter Savoy, Lane Savoy, Tyler Vallot, and Gentry Foreman.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Chase Vallot, Blake Vallot and Blaine Vallot.
