Donald J. Lasseigne

Loreauville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 16,2018 at 10:30 AM for Mr. Donald J. Lasseigne, age 81, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Ed Degeyter officiating the mass. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at David’s Funeral Home of Loreauville on Sunday, April 15, 2018 form 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Monday, April 16, 2018 form 8:00 AM until the time of service at 10:30 AM.

Mr. Donald passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 7:46 PM. He loved going to the camp and cooking. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Mrs. Joy Dugas Lasseigne, his son John Blaine Hotard and wife Jan of Loreauville, his grandchildren Hailey Latiolais of Loreauville, Ethan Hotard of New Iberia and  his brother Raymond Lasseigne and wife Donna of Coteau Holmes and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents David C. and Yola Marie Lasseigne, his sister Geraldine Solari.

Upholding the honor of pallbearers will be Raymond Lasseigne, Ethan Hotard, Andre Roy, Dwayne Solari, John Serville and Thorn Solari.
