Larry Ray Burleigh

Cade—Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, April 16, 2018, at 4:00 PM for Mr. Larry Ray Burleigh, age 74 at David Funeral Home Chapel of New Iberia located at 1101 Trotter Street with Dr. Kenneth LeLeux officiating the services.

Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home Chapel located at 1101 Trotter Street beginning at 12:00 Noon until the time of services at 4:00 PM.

Mr. Larry Ray Burleigh was born on February 17, 1944, to Wilbur and Mary Lou Doucet Burleigh and was a lifelong resident of Cade, LA.

Larry was a wonderful family man who loved his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his devoted to his friends.

Larry is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mona Jinks Burleigh of Cade; his children, Bruce W. Burleigh and Fiancée Rachelle of New Iberia, Linda G. Fontenot and husband Keith of Opelousas, Candis R. Durand and husband Conery of St. Martinville, Cheri A. Matthews and husband Michael of New Iberia, Tangi D. Gary and husband Michael of St. Martinville, Sandi C. Blanchard and husband Kenneth of St. Martinville and one sister Joann “Sue” Almaguer and husband Ricardo of Lafayette.

He was preceded in death by his parents Wilbur and Mary Lou Doucet Burleigh.
