Lafayette - A Mass of Christian burial for Anna Mae Dubois, 78, will be held
Saturday, April 21, 2018
at 10:00AM in St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Youngsville, with Father Cedric Sonnier, Pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Baldwin, LA officiating.
Visitation will be held
Friday, April 20, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM
with a Rosary recited at
7:00 PM
, and will resume
Saturday
at
8:00 AM
until time of services. Burial will follow in St. Anne Catholic Cemetery.
A wife, mother, and grandmother, Anna Mae passed away peacefully on April 18, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital surrounded by her family. She enjoyed making her famous fudge and pecan cake, preparing home cooked meals for her family, and being a wonderful caregiver for many children. Anna Mae will be missed by all who knew her.
Anna Mae is survived by her two children; Sam Dubois and his wife Pam, Janet Sonnier and her husband Chris, one granddaughter Amber Breaux and her husband Jarred, one brother, Harold Comeaux, and two sisters, Mary Alice Boudreaux and Verna Mae Verret, as well as many nieces and nephews and her special family Pam, Jessica, Ashley, Vernon, Kelly, and Brad.
Anna Mae was preceded in death by her husband Raywood Dubois, parents, John Comeaux and Lena Himel Comeaux, four brothers, Jimmy Comeaux, Robert Comeaux, Johnny Comeaux, and Jerry Comeaux, and two sisters, Joanne Comeaux and Earline Sonnier.
