New Iberia – At the request of the family a private, Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date for Jean Jacques Grosselle, 68, who went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 11:23 AM at his residence.
A native of Paris, France, he was a member of the French Foreign Legion, enjoyed painting, camping, Cajun music, woodworking and had a deep love for animals. Jean was an Iron Worker in the Steel Industry and acquired this trade when he came to America.
He is survived by his wife of five years, Patricia Fuqua Grosselle of New Iberia; four brothers, Jean Michel Grosselle (Marie Pierre), Henri Grosselle, Phillippe Grosselle and Daniel Grosselle all of France; one sister, Catherine of France; two daughters; Celine Grosselle of Aubenas, France and Morganne Claire of Parma, IN; three step-sons; Tyson (Stephanie) Duplantis of Walker, Brandley Duplantis of Broussard and Brian Duplantis of Lafayette.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Madeleine Yvonne Rhod and Maurice Robert Grosselle.
