Steve Naquin

Abbeville – A Memorial Service for Steve Naquin, 59, will be held at a later date.

A native of Lafayette and a resident of Abbeville, Mr. Naquin died at Lafayette General Medical Center on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.  He was known for his enjoyment to bar-b-que for family and friends; shoot pool; and sing karaoke.  However, his greatest joy was his family.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Eunice Simon Naquin of Abbeville; a son, Joshua Naquin of Abbeville; three daughters, Tiffany Naquin of Abbeville, Constance Meagher of Abbeville, and Gillian Hoogstra of Cordova, TN; four brothers, Carl Naquin, Donald Naquin, William Naquin, Jr., and Raymond Naquin; five sisters, Audrey Foster, Carolyn Shearin, Annie Gordon, Clara Beasley, and Lane DeCuir; and four grandchildren, Breannah Naquin, Alexander Guilliot, Samara Gomes, and Brooklynne Meagher.

He was preceded death by his parents, William Naquin, Sr. and Eula Guillory Naquin; four brothers, Richard Naquin, Wilfred Naquin, Wilbert Naquin, and Russell Naquin; and a sister, Irene Patterson.
