Larry Lee Schnorr

Broussard – Funeral Services for Mr. Larry Lee Schnorr,75, will be held at 11:30AM on Friday, October 26, 2018 at East Bayou Church with Rev. Linton Broussard officiating. Interment will follow at Big Island Memorial Garden Cemetery in Deville, LA.

Visitation will be at East Bayou Church on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 9:00AM until the time of the services.

A native of Berwick, PA and a resident of Broussard, LA, Mr. Schnorr died at 7:00AM on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at his residence. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Larry loved spending time at his cottage in Pennsylvania fishing and hunting. Pap Pap also enjoyed being with his granddaughters, as their biggest fan, he always supported them on the volleyball court and soccer field.

He is survived by a son, David Schnorr of Mobile, AL; a daughter, Bethel Gilmore and her husband Chris of Broussard; a sister, Debbie Esper and her husband Alan; five grandchildren, Jared Schnorr, Andrew Schnorr, Mateya Schnorr, Samantha Gilmore, and Charlee Gilmore; two great grandchildren, Cadin Schnorr and Jordyn Schnorr; and the mother of his children and friend, Rita Schnorr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Schnorr and Betty Thomas Birge.

Serving as pallbearers will be members of his friends and family.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Lourdes Hospice; his nurse, Gary; and his caretaker, Ricky, for taking care of Larry and giving awesome support to his family.
